Feature Overview
You can now track link clicks both in your campaigns and inbox messages. This allows you to monitor engagement and see how many people clicked your links.
✅ How to Turn on Inbox Trackable URLs
Enable Trackable URLs:
Click on "Account Settings" within the app.
Turn the "Inbox Trackable URLs" switch button ON.
Note: This feature is turned on by default. When you send your first inbox message containing a link, you will see a warning indicating that the link will be converted to a trackable link. This feature can be edited from settings.
Automatic Link Conversion:
When you send a message containing a link, it will be automatically shortened and converted into a trackable link.
Tracking Link Prefix: The tracking link prefix is automatically generated but can be edited within the campaign settings.
When links are sent, a thumbnail will be displayed in the GX inbox, providing a visual preview of the content, as seen below.
🔗 Convert URL Feature for Campaigns
Enable Convert URL:
By default, the Convert URL feature is turned on for new campaigns.
When creating a campaign that includes a link, you will see a warning indicating that the Convert URL feature is ON by default. This feature can be edited in the campaign settings.
Automatic Conversion:
Links included in your campaign messages will be automatically converted to trackable links.
👆 Adding a Clicked Column to Your Campaign Dashboard
You can add a "Clicked" column to your campaign's dashboard to see how many people clicked your links per campaign.
Open the Columns Dropdown Menu:
Navigate to your campaign's dashboard.
Open the columns dropdown menu.
Checkmark 'Clicked':
Checkmark the 'Clicked' option to add this column to your dashboard.
3. View Clicks:
The clicked column will display how many people clicked on your links for each campaign.
How to Know It's Working
Once you send a message or create a campaign containing a link, the link will be shortened and converted to a trackable link. You can then monitor the clicks through the "Clicked" column on your dashboard, within the inbox message details AND within your connection tabs.
