Purpose of This Feature

This article explains how to use LinkedIn URLs and CRM data to run Acquisition campaigns in Growth-X, sync collected data back to your CRM, and maintain accurate lead management.

CSV with LinkedIn URLs: How It Works

This feature allows you to seamlessly upload a CSV file containing LinkedIn profile URLs to run Acquisition Campaigns in Growth-X. Here's how it functions:

  • Create a new Acquisition campaign and select CSV as the source

The file must include valid LinkedIn profile URLs for each lead.

  • Format: Create your CSV, add the first column naming it linkedin_url and under it list out all the LinkedIn profile URLs (e.g. http://linkedin.com/in/mickeymouse) of the people you would like to reach out to.

  • Automated Matching:

    • Once the CSV is uploaded, Growth-X's system automatically matches the provided LinkedIn URLs with the respective LinkedIn or Sales Navigator accounts.

  • Campaign Execution:

    • The bot sends connection requests to the matched LinkedIn profiles, streamlining outreach efforts and ensuring targeted engagement.

This feature ensures a simple and efficient process for launching Acquisition Campaigns with accurate lead targeting based on LinkedIn URLs.

Pro Tip: Always verify that your LinkedIn URLs are correctly formatted and active to maximize campaign success.

CSV with CRM IDs: How It Works

This option allows you to run LinkedIn campaigns using the provided CSV and update the original CRM lead with additional data gathered by Growth-X.

Here's how it functions:

Step 1: Export CSV from Your CRM

  • Export a CSV file from their CRM (e.g., Salesforce) containing:

    • LinkedIn profile URLs (linkedin_url).

    • CRM Identifiers (crm_id) for each lead.

      • Format example

linkedin_url

crm_id

00Q3t0000025I3AZEA0

Note: The crm_id may vary depending on the CRM:

  • Salesforce: Unique alphanumeric IDs (e.g., 00Q3t0000025I3AZEA0).

  • HubSpot: Usually the lead's email address.

Step 2: Upload the CSV to Growth-X

  • Navigate to the Campaign Manager in Growth-X.

  • Select CSV Campaign and upload the file.

  • Initiate an Acquisition campaign.

  • Growth-X sends connection requests to the LinkedIn profiles listed in the file.

Step 3: Campaign Execution

  • Upon connection acceptance, Growth-X gathers additional data (e.g., name, email, company).

  • The collected data is automatically mapped to the crm_id provided in the CSV.

Step 4: Sync Data Back to Your CRM

  • Growth-X provides a "New Connections and Prospects" API endpoint.

  • Use this API to retrieve enriched data, including:

    • New connections

    • CRM Identifiers (crm_id)

    • Additional collected details (e.g., email, company)

Integration with Salesforce

Example Workflow:

  1. Campaign Execution:

    • Growth-X sends a connection invite to lkhachatryan.

    • Once accepted, Growth-X gathers additional data (e.g., email, company) and maps it to the original CRM_ID (00Q3t0000025I3AZEA0).

  2. Data Sync Using Zapier or API:

    • The API provides all new connection details.

    • Clients can automate data sync using:

      • Zapier to push data back to Salesforce.

      • Custom scripts that call the API and update CRM records.

Final Output in Salesforce:

  • The original lead in Salesforce is updated with enriched data, avoiding duplication.

Zapier Integration Example

Workflow:

  1. Trigger: New Connection in Growth-X.

  2. Action: Update the lead in Salesforce using the CRM_ID.

Outcome:

  • The lead in Salesforce is updated with:

    • New data collected from Growth-X campaigns.

    • Accurate mapping using the CRM_ID.
