Managing your proxy settings is essential for running smooth campaigns. At Growth-X, you can now add or replace a proxy directly from the UI, making it easy to manage your connections without using extra tools. Here’s how you can do it.
When creating a new user, the system will automatically assign the client’s location in the new user details window. Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Choosing a Location:
You can select a different location from the Location drop-down menu.
When you click Save and Validate with an assigned or chosen location, the system will automatically check for available proxies from GX providers for that location.
✅ Proxy Validation:
If a proxy is available for your chosen location, it will be validated and saved to the user’s details.
If no proxy is available, a pop-up will appear with this message:
“We couldn't create a proxy in your selected location. Please choose the nearest available location from the list above.”
You’ll need to select a different location to proceed; choose the closest to your country.
✅ No Location Provided:
If you leave the Location field empty and click Save and Validate, the user will be validated without a proxy.
🚫 After Validation:
You cannot change or edit the Location field.
✅ Using a Custom Proxy:
Toggle on the “My Proxy” button to use your own proxy.
When you click Save and Validate, your custom proxy will be used and saved to the user’s details.
🔄 Editing Custom Proxies:
After validation, you can remove the custom proxy and assign a new custom proxy.
However, you cannot switch between a custom proxy and a provider proxy once saved.
